Cafebility is a community development organization based in Varanasi (UP), India, working for poor and marginalized sections of the society since past 25 years. Cafebility has a solid presence at grassroots with over 850 SHGs, animated by a team of 60 committed professional and para-professional social workers and volunteers, who ensure an effective reach of our programmes to the people with ‘last mile connectivity’.

Information gathering and use

We collect information from you in a number of ways, for example when you:

•             Make a donation

•             Sign up to our campaign and signing up to stay updated

•             We won’t collect or record your personal information unless you choose to give it to us

Type of information we gather

•             Your name

•             Your email and mailing address

•             Your telephone number

•             Your payment processing details

•             Any other data as required for donation and issuing certificate for exemption

Use of Personal Information Shared by you

We use the information you share with us in the following ways:

•             To ensure we have an accurate record of all the donations we receive to comply the rules and regulation of the land.

•             To email you with news and information about Cafebility and our campaigns, but only if you have agreed to this.

•             To make sure you are receiving the most appropriate and relevant information about our work.

Privacy of our email lists

• Individuals who join our mailing lists via our website or through our campaign engagements are added to our email database. Cafebility do not sell, rent, trade, lease or share the email address to any other third party for any other use as well that is not mentioned here.
• Cafebility uses well-recognized and proven technology for payments. Payment information is transferred by the user proven technology which offers the highest degree of security that the donor’s browser is able to support.

Changes to Privacy Policy

• As and when the need arises, Cafebility may amend its privacy policy in accordance with the latest technology by providing timely notice of these changes.  The users can reach to Cafebility with any quires at: info@cafebility.org

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cafebility is a charitable organization and any payment/contribution made to the organization is treated as donation and our policy on the refund and cancellation of the donations received for the social cause on the payment gateway through the website as following;

• Donations received through the online payment gateway by Cafebility by principle will not be refunded or cancelled.
• The donations received by Cafebility will be reached to the poor and needy.
• If any in-kind support received by Cafebility will be provided to the poor and needy as required.
• Once a donation is received for a cause, will not be refunded to the donor. No cancellation of the donation will be accepted. The donation will be used for the community development, children’s education or women’s empowerment, rehabilitation of the persons with disabilities and other social causes.
• In-the case of a donor makes the payment irrelevant to his intentional amount, the donor may write to info@cafebility.org. The request will be reviewed and considered if found relevant.
